Holiday Messages Starting to Arrive

I enjoy holiday messages from travel companies. United Airlines was first out of the gate and set a low bar. I'm excited for the annual competition.

JPATS (Con Air) 737 Safety Card

Every wonder what the Con Air 737 safety card looks like? Well thanks to a FOIA request to the US Marshals Service, I got a copy of a JPATS Boeing 737-400 passenger safety card.

I'm surprised that it is a just a generic 737-400 safety card from the mid 1990's with JPATS as the airline name. Usually the government does not save money, but here they cheaped out big time. 

Not Sure I Want That Bombardier Branding

You'd think that branding would make it harder to sell. Some people keep their Carmax and Certified Pre Owned license plate frames on, so it could work.

Status Run

Mileage runs are dead, but status runs are still around. I'm comfortable with my Gold status on United. I was very close with Chick-Fil-A and made an extra visit to spend at least $16.45. Success!

Never been to NOC, but it looks like a good option for western Ireland. Ireland West Airport has a fun email list I follow and, interesting oddity, collect departure tax onsite not in the ticket price.
